Terms and Conditions
Membership
- Only persons ages 14 years old and over are allowed in the sauna area with proof of ID
- Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Prices of memberships are final purchases and no credit.
- With a 1-year membership, members can freeze their account as often as they want and the freeze must be a minimum of one week.
- With a 12-week membership, members can freeze their account up to 2 times and freezes must be a minimum of one week.
- Members with at least 12-week memberships receive a 15% discount across treatments, café & retail (Amo Center & Suite)
- Amo Lovers – members with 1-year memberships – receive 15% discount across treatments, café & retail (Amo Center & Suite), personalized sauna hat & water bottle and loyalty points
- With a 12-week membership get 2 complimentary guest passes (valid for 3 months)
- With a 1-year membership get 10 complimentary guest passes (valid for 1 year)
Safe Space Rules
- Members must shower before entering the pool, cold plunges and cold barrels, the saunas and Hammam, and the steam room. Members must shower in between uses of facilities as well. This is not only for reasons of hygiene but to keep the facilities functioning properly.
- Outside essential oils, fragments, and scents are prohibited in our sauna heaters, kilns, and rocks.
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed in Amo Spa. No glass in the spa facilities area.
- Bathing suits and trunks must be worn at all times. Undergarments and topless bikinis are not allowed. Amo Spa is a safe space for all! Please be respectful. Amo Spa reserves the right to remove anyone in violation of dress code.
- Out of respect of the privacy of others, no photo or video is allowed in Amo Spa Facilities.
- Amo Spa Management accepts no responsibility or liability for lost or damaged personal belongings kept in private lockers or anywhere on Amo premises.
- Pets of any kind are not allowed at Amo Spa Center.
- Members using the Amo Spa facilities do so at their own risk. Please check with your physician if you have any medical conditions. Amo Spa does not accept any responsibility for any personal injuries or illnesses.
- By enrolling in the AMO Sauna Membership, you affirm that you do not have any medical conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions, respiratory issues, pregnancy, or any other conditions, that may be exacerbated by the use of sauna facilities.
- AMO Spa shall not be held liable for any adverse health effects or medical complications that may arise from the use of sauna facilities. It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure that your use of the sauna is safe for your personal health.
General Rules
- A 2 hour maximum time per guest will be applied when Amo Recovery Center is at capacity. Our facilities and spa-rooms need time to be kept cold, kept hot, kept clean, and kept comfortable and safe for all guests.
- You will be given a digital membership QR code. A link will be provided to download our app by text message. Members will be asked to present this digital member QR code upon entry into the recovery space.
Privacy Policy
Mobile Phones
As a relaxation-based spa, we ask you to silence all phones and all electronic devices. No phone usage is permitted in our quiet areas out of respect for the other patrons.
Arrival Time
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to give you ample time to check-in. Guests having a massage are required to complete a Client Detail Form so we can best serve your needs.
Late Arrival
If you are going to be late please give us a call, and we will make an effort to accommodate you. However, your appointment may be rescheduled. Late arrivals will result in a reduction of service time with no reduction in the tariff of the treatment.
Group Bookings
We welcome group bookings. For booking of 3 people treatments, or more required a 50% deposit. For all reservations of more than 3 people or a couple packages a 50% deposit is required to be paid to secure the booking. Should you need to cancel your appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for a full refund. Cancellations and moving the booking time up to 12 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be refunded 50% of the deposit paid. All cancellations or moving the booking time with less than 12 hours notice, as well as no-shows, cannot be refunded.
Payment
We gladly accept cash, VISA, Master Card and AMEX. For less than 3 days booking, we only accept Indonesian Local Bank Transfer to ensure timely receiving the payment. International bank transfers will take 3-7 business days for us to receive the payment. Please see our reception desk for cash payment.
Friendly Spa
We treat all customers with respect and expect the same in return with all AMO staff. We reserve the right to refuse any service.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are available for purchase for any value and can also be purchased for specific treatments. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash. The gift card balance and any unused balance expire 3 months from the date of purchase. We cannot replace lost or stolen gift cards.
Gratuity
If you are pleased with the service you received, it is welcome to give gratuity to your therapist. If you would like to leave a gratuity for your therapist please let us know
Pricing
Prices and treatments are subject to change at any time. Please confirm pricing at the same time of your appointment. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT OUR QUOTED MENU PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE 15% TAX AND 5% SERVICE. In Indonesia, tax and service are mandatory charges applied to all purchases. Some businesses quote pricing including tax and service and others choose to separate for easier accounting practice.
Valuables
We cannot be responsible for lost valuables; therefore, please leave jewelry of significant value at home. Lockers or locked boxes are provided at AMO locations.
Customer Satisfaction
We will rectify all issues within an appropriate time frame based on availability and only with a receipt. Please book an appointment so we can best serve you if it is not the same day. No cash refund.
Children and Babies
Children or babies are not allowed upstairs. Children are only allowed in our mani/pedi area booked in for treatments. We love children, especially babies but wish to respect all clients who come to AMO to relax and unwind. Accompanied children are welcome in our downstairs cafe area. Body treatments for children under the age of 12 are not allowed. Foot massage under the age of 8 is not allowed.

How do we store & protect your data?
- Customer profiles data is stored in an encrypted database on our website protected by industry standard firewalls and anti-virus software.
- Newsletter subscriber data is stored and processed by Mailchimp

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access & portability – You have the right to request us for copies of your personal data.
